Hack-a-thon​
Information
Information about the hack-a-thon:

No prior experience is needed.

We will be able to teach the basic skills needed.

Afterwards, participants will be divided into teams of 4-5, where they will be asked to create a prototype of a website/app based on a theme.

We recommend forming your own team before hand.

The theme will be announced on the day of the event.

Finally, the team will be asked to present their app/website to the judges and judges will determine the three best designs.

Please bring a laptop.

Food will be available at a nominal cost.
One Day of Powerful Competition
Groups of 4 or 5 will come up with an idea for their app or their website and collaborate with one another to build it and compete against multiple teams to see which app or website stands above the rest. Each team will present their app/website, the top 3 best apps and websites will be awarded with a trophy!

Sankara Eye Foundation's goal is to provide the highest quality care and service to the needy at our eight state-of-the-art hospitals all over India for free. India has the largest population of the blind in the world; with over 55M visually impaired and 8M of them totally blind. The Sankara Eye Foundation has set a world record by providing free eye surgeries for more than 1.5 million people. Please help us eradicate curable blindness in India. Donate towards surgeries and or towards the construction of upcoming hospitals in Madhya Pradesh or Telangana. All the proceeds go directly to the Sankara Eye Foundation.
